Tekwani Cedara Estate – We have a permit to use the Tekwani Cedara Estate. Membership to HORC is essential for lawful use of this property, and all riders must display their HORC membership stickers when riding in Tekwani.
Rozie Farming Investments - Exclusive permission granted to HORC members only to ride on ERF109 and Sweetwaters.
Msunduzi Plantations (Worlds View) - We have engaged with the municipality regarding formal recognition of riding in this area. No official permit has been issued, the forestry management has indicated they have no objection to our continued presence; and we will remain committed to responsible riding in this space.

RIDING RULES
& ETIQUETTE
HORC members are expected to adhere to responsible riding practices to ensure the sustainability of our trails and positive relationships with landowners and the community. Our key riding rules include:
Rider Etiquette: All members must display rider etiquette. This includes:

Avoid riding near walkers, cyclists, and pets. Consider turning around or choosing a different path.

Avoid rapid acceleration and/or wheeling near motorists.

Respecting private property by not riding on residential lawns.
Noise Awareness: All members must take steps to prevent noise complaints from residents.
No-Go Areas: The chairman may notify members about no-go areas. Riders must respect the reasoning and avoid riding in no-go areas.
Tekwani Rules: All members must follow Tekwani’s rules when riding on Tekwani Property. These rules include:

Displaying a valid HORC sticker.

Riding at 40 km/h on forestry roads.

Avoiding no-go areas and areas where there is ongoing agricultural activity.

Not damaging Tekwani's assets.
